So, I started and finished a new project. I finally got my hands on the beautiful treewoman by Ultraforge. She is amazing and there are lots of pictures of her on the internet. So I felt compelled to put a new spin on her and make her into a demon for Warhammer 40k. I'll be using her as either a Bloodthirster or a Lord of Change. I painted her in about two and a half hours. The only part I airbrushed was the nooses, because they more around when you touch them and it was impossible to paint them by hand, I did some washes on them though.

Gorkamorka Buildings update
Progress continues on the Gorkamorka buildings. I've added glyphs and writing to the walls, as well as a little graffiti. Next I'll be adding extra scrap to the outside to cobble it up a little and make it look more orky.
I've also been working on a second building. Progress on these is going very quickly.

Gorkamorka Building 1
So, I'm helping my brother with a project. He is rewriting the rules for Gorkamorka. He is using a combination of Games Workshop rules and Malifaux rules. I am painting the buildings for him. Its good practice for using my airbrush. I'm using a combination of airbrush and weathering pigments. Here are the early results. I will also be trying to create graffiti using my airbrush, but my early attempts have caused me to have to redo some of the walls. I'll give it another try once I practice on some paper. I also plan on adding orky "improvements" to it.

Almost Done With Trikky!
I decided to use masking tape instead of stencils. It was pretty easy. Just have a few more details, the head and the base left.
Trikky Progress
My new Trikky project is going very well. Hopefully he will be close to being done today. The clothing is turning out really well, especially the sleeves. Here is the progress so far.
Project Trikky
My newest project is a Munny figure. Trikky. I painted one of the Foomi before, but I'm going to try this one with my airbrush and see if that speeds up the process. I'm thinking of doing a steampunk gentleman kitty with a handlebar mustache, a vest and a monocle, but we'll see if that is too bold an idea or not for my airbrush. I was lucky enough to get the hat as my random accessory. If I can paint this one fast enough I will try to do several different ones and take them to Anime Weekend Atlanta to try and sell them. If...

A quick Dust Tactics wip.
To anyone who follows this blog, I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I haven't felt much like painting in the past while. Luckily today I felt like painting. I started a walker from Dust Tactics for the German faction. I used an airbrush to highlight the grey and now I'm going over with washes and pigments to get a weathered look. So here is my current progress.
I plan on adding On Source Lighting to the parts that warrant it after I'm done with the weathering. Also a thank you to my friend Matthew for giving me this model.
