Warning: Not Oldhammer

I took a break from oldhammer painting today to paint a commission for a local gamer. Thought since I don't have a new oldhammer model to post I'd give everyone a view of what a modern miniature looks like when I paint it. I didn't do the base because he wanted to do it so it would match his other bases. I'll be doing a few models for him in the next couple of weeks, hopefully. His choice of color scheme.

    In my book, big arse robots fit in nicely with Oldhammer.

      Thanks. Its a Thanatar. A Mechanicum model from Forgeworld's Horus Heresy line.

      Thank you. Whenever I think of robots in 40k, or in this case 30k, I think of Rogue Trader.

    Looks good. Again I think that most of us over here are less strict about the whole March 3rd 1979 - 4:37pm on April 5th 1990. This also reminds me that I need to stop being such a wimp about attempting OSL.
